WELCOME! Considering that Christianity is a religion that was born in a barn, we’re kind of proud of our parish's humble origins in a tent. In 1911, a small group of people began meeting to worship God in a canvas-roofed building with wooden walls and floor at our current location - in Vancouver, Canada. Since then St. Mary’s has grown a lot. Regular Sunday services are at 8am, 9:15am and 11:15am. There is also a lively, informal Saturday worship at 5pm on the third Sunday of the month. The fall has started with all its busy-ness. Come and be refreshed at the first of the season’s Taize-style worship services Sunday, October 5 at 7:30 pm. We meet in the entrance to the church (narthex) for a brief introduction before going into the church. This service is full of silences, music sung repetitively, candles and prayers. It will be led by Christine Mitchell as lead, Glen Mitchell on piano, and Rudi Krause on violin. The service lasts about an hour. New this year!
