Seniors' Pentecost Eucharist & Tea
Wednesday, June 12th, 2pm
Come enjoy our Pentecost worship as we celebrate with music, readings, prayers, and a homily. The service will be about 45 minutes long and will be followed by a lovely Strawberry Tea in the Parish Hall. We encourage the wearing of masks during the service. Please let us know ahead of time if you expect to attend in-person or if you know someone who would like to by contacting the office at 604.261.4228 or emailing office@stmaryskerrisdale.ca. This will give us an idea of numbers. We do hope you’ll join us at this time. The service gives us an opportunity to celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and to connect with old and new friends.

Lent Study "Climate + Faith”
Through this series, we will explore how we can help meet the greatest challenge in human history. Each participant will receive a devotional booklet and access to various other resources on the web. Through exploring these resources, as well as biblical texts, accessible science, and practical wisdom, we will each create a custom-made, solution-oriented action plan for how WE PERSONALLY can participate in the Spirit’s movement for a clean, healthy world. We will meet either in-person or on Zoom to explore that week’s topic and help each other to develop our own plan for “walking the talk”. Annual Vestry Meeting
The Annual Vestry Meeting will be on Sunday, February 25th after Coffee Hour in the Parish Hall.
Also, at the 10am service on Feb.25th, all people (from 2020 onward) who are new or returned to the parish after a period of being away will be invited to come up for a blessing and a welcome gift.
Lent Quiet Day
For Christians, Lent offers an opportunity for spiritual renewal. We invite you to start your Lent by attending our Lent Quiet Day. This will be a quiet and meditative time to refresh you in body and spirit. The day will include simple worship, reflection time, a soup lunch, and opportunities to pray, walk the labyrinth, and be creative. The day is free, but we do need you to let us know you are coming so we know how many to prepare for. Contact Rev. Roberta for more info.
